Whitney Within Our Hearts

Everybody's talking about the death of Whitney Houston. It's funny how some of us can see the life of someone that has passed away in our dreams. It's funny how we can receive their messages. It's funny how they sometimes come back to lead us to the truth and to what is really real. Sounds like heaven to me. There are some things we have within us. Whitney is inside our hearts, and she knew God.  I'm reminded by a Bible verse. (Luke 17:21) Neither shall they say, See here! or, see there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Whitney Houston _Step by Step Keep Movin'

Often, I think about the lyrics to Whitney Houston's song, Step by Step. There are words that stand out that she sings like, DON'T GIVE UP, GOT TO KEEP MOVIN', and YOU GOT TO HOLD ON TO WHAT YOU GOT. Sometimes I feel like giving up thinking about all of the things that I have to do that are taking forever to get done. It is mainly because of God that I do not stop because he told me not to before I ever heard Whitney's song. I could not help but notice that she was sending out a message that was given to me from the Lord. I try to hold on to what I have which is God. Without him, I wouldn't make it and would not have the things that are given by the Lord. As I think of the title of the song, Step by Step, I think of a Bible verse. (Psalm 37:23) The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his way.

Sometimes I think about what I have lost like my mother. It feels as if Whitney is a part of me too and she is gone also. If you have lost anyone, hold on to what you have inside, keep movin', and don't give up. You will see them again.

Goldfish Speaks Dog Language to Cat

From YouTube
When I saw this commercial, I laughed until my sides were hurting. When the cat heard the fish speak a different language, he lost his appettite. The cat walked off. He decided that he did not want dinner.

Geico Commercials

Geico from YouTube
Geico Commercials never made any sense to me. I don't see where any of them have anything to do with car insurance. Geico will tell you that they are more than car insurance, but their commercials don't look like car insurance advertising. Still, they are fun to watch. The Foghorn Leghorn commercial is my favorite.

Walkers Lionel Richie Returns

From YouTube
Lionel Richie Returns and finally gets the bag of Extra Crunchy after he was thrown out of the store window. He is a brave man. Extra Crunchy must be mighty good. Lionel has the man running away from him not wanting to share. Lionel want stop until he gets what he wants. It's funny because Lionel should have been running away from the man with the chips. The man with the chips must think that Lionel is crazy because he won't leave him a lone. Extra Crunchy has made him that way.

Kindle and No School Books

The InkPost on Kindle
If you like to read blogs, you can read them while you are on the road with Kindle. You may read them while you are not wirelessly connected.  Of course you know that you can read books.

Kindle would be great for school. I was talking to a friend about it that was reading a book on Nook. We were reminiscing about how we had to carry a load of books in our back packs and in our arms. We were discussing that maybe Kindle or Nook would be books for students in the future. Then they would not have to keep up with so many heavy books. I use to crack jokes in school that I needed a wagon for my books. When I look at what Kindle has to offer today and how it existed, I could never had imagined in my high school days carrying something as digital and flat as Kindle to read books.

Printing With Inthepaper

From Inthepaper.co.uk
Making your own comics and writing your own stories can be fun. I always wanted to see my comics in a real newspaper. I have my own name for a newspaper, but it has never been a real newspaper or published in one. So I turned to Inthepaper. You can personalize your own news. I did not have to worry about publishing a million pages. At inthepaper, you just publish a front page with your own article and image. I did not have to worry about setting the size of the image. It was made smaller for the paper. The title of my article was written in big letters on the front page. When I received my paper in the mail, I was more than happy.

Now that I have seen what my cartoons look like in a newspaper, though it is fake, I want to make things more real. I would like to get into the newspaper business and publish my cartoons and stories.
